Real Wedding Amanda & Jess July 2015

by - 16:44

The gorgeous Amanda & Jess reside in London but chose the gorgeous Wick Farm near Bath for their country wedding ceremony and spent the night before and the wedding night at Babington House in Somerset.

Amanda works as a fashion designer and so of course had a fantastic sense of style and knew exactly the look she wanted. We coordinated the flowers with the overall look by using bespoke hand painted silk ribbons from Kate Cullen.
As with a number of my weddings it was featured on a well known wedding blog, this time Rock My Wedding and you can find it right here!

I'll let you read more on the fab RMW blog page where you'll find lots of gorgeous images from the day and leave you with Amanda's lovely comments to me after the wedding and her kind words when interviewed by RMW...

"I wanted to just say a huge THANK YOU for doing my beautiful wedding flowers. They were exactly what we wanted, and suited the whole feel of the day- relaxed, loose and beautifully natural looking..."

"I found Claire while doing a # search on Instagram, looking for #Bathflorists and Garden & Wild came up. I was drawn to her organic, unpolished, loose hand tied bouquets and her use of seasonal flowers which are part grown in her garden and part bought from flower markets. We met for a cuppa in her rented barn where she works from, and it went from there. Claire did all our flowers, including supplying the ones for the cake as well which she added wire so our cake maker could add them on in the morning.
I wanted loose silk ribbons for mine and the bridesmaids bouquets and Claire recommended Kate Cullen to create bespoke silk ribbons in a mixture of lilacs and greys to compliment the bridesmaid dresses. I wanted that look of silk ribbons flowing in the wind and they were exactly how I envisaged. All raw edge, bias cut and hand painted so they still had that opaque look.
And bearing in mind Kate never saw my bridesmaid dresses in the flesh she did an amazing job based on one telephone conversation."
