Iford Manor ~ The Peto Garden

by - 00:20

Tonight saw the start of a new series of The Great British Garden Revival on BBC 2.
It's a great watch for any garden or flower enthusiast and I am looking forward to watching the rest of the series. I was so delighted to see it feature a garden very close to my home and one which I absolutely adore! It is so utterly beautiful and I'll look forward to visiting again in a few months to see (and smell) the wonderful old roses that featured on the programme tonight.
I thought it seemed the perfect moment to look back and share with you some photographs taken on one of my visits there. I hope that they lift your spirits in the way that being in the garden lifts mine, something much needed during these seemingly never-ending days before the flush of springtime returns and our gardens get back into their stride.
This garden is one of the most enchanting gardens I have ever seen, who could fail to be inspired by this place!?
